With many recent events that have been happening, some may think that NEM is becoming a flop, but I assure it is not. After my recent accident, I have been recommended by my doctor not to travel and since driving isnt an option, I will not be able to attend NEM. But fear not...things will be going on without my presence. Trophies will be sent to each winning person, these are very nice glass trophies and the utmost care will be taken in shipping them to the winner. The site has been updated, the schedule has been added, and the attendance pages are updated as well. If your name has not been added, then you need to reregistered...also NEM fees must be in by JUNE 10th!!! via PayPal or MO/Check. Anything recieved after that I can not assure you that your name will make it onto the prepaid list.

**Jan. 23, 2003** I personally want to apologize for the error on the website. I thought that I changed it months ago, but obviously I did not. I want to thank everyone for calling it to my attention. Hopefully this doesn't ruin anyones plans for attending. I will be going on vacation (Jan. 24-30) and when I return I will also update the website with more information.

In the summer of 2003, the largest gathering of Escorts will take place in Texas for the first ever National Escort Meet (previously the National Zetec Meet). This meet will bring together the pride of Ford's four cylinder lineup, to prove to the aftermarket world that we will no go peacefully into the night by the way of the Focus.
With the Track Day out of our budgetting grasp, we are now looking for bigger and brighter ideas. Speedzone, a go-karting/racing place has been brought up, as well as a Dyno Day.
