The National Escort Meet, was founded to bring together all of us Escort tuners. For many years prior I owned a Ford Probe GT, and each year traveled to Myrtle Beach, SC for the huge Myrtle Madness (now bringing in 100+ Probers from across US/Canada)...and thought that it would be great to have a meet like that for us.
So in 2000, I came up with the National Zetec Meet. Held in Atlanta, GA...brought 45+ cars together ZX2s and Foci alike together for a great meet. Having Gude Performance and Eibach sponsor our meet, we set a standard. Last years meet...in St. Louis, MO, 30 ZX2s showed up and from that point it was time to bring all Escorts together for one giant meet.
2003 will prove to everyone that we Escort Tuners are still alive, and are going to make a name for ourselves and get the National Escort Meet nationally recognized before this is all over with. So come out and support the Escort community...there is always strength in numbers...and who knows you might end up in a magazine one day.
